Technically this girl is a harlequin jester, but I gave her dramatic clown makeup instead if a traditional mask to bring out her human characteristics and make her easier to identify with.
I wanted her to look like she has her own character: emotional, not a detached performer.
This was a lot of fun to do. Working in ink is challenging for me, and I was trying to provide contrast between dark colors and vibrant ones.
