Hummingbird

Imagine being tiny enough to ride a hummingbird.

This is a hummingbird and its rider from the beautiful animated movie, Epic.

I was inspired to paint a hummingbird after one invited itself into our house last week.  I had never seen one up close before.  It was exquisite.  No worries, I didn't keep it: my expert hummingbird rescue squad gently captured and released it into the wild.
