The Monster That Was Under Lolly's Bed

Here is a silly sketch I did tonight:

"Mommy, can I keep him?"

I have asked that question a couple times: once it was a litter of wild kittens, once it was a turtle, once it was a stray dog, and when I was really little, I think I even wanted a pet worm, but I have never asked to keep a monster.
